Who can apply? Anyone can apply to immigrate to Canada. If you are married, you or your spouse can apply.

Why Canada? Canada has a long tradition of welcoming immigrants. Home to two official languages, English and French, Canada is also a multicultural society, with more than 17% of the population reporting a mother tongue other than English or French. During the 1990s, Canada received between 200,000 and 250,000 immigrants per year.
